Custom framing is about more than beautiful craftsmanship. For this reason The New Yorker offers a variety of technical services:

Dry Mounting

Dry mounting is the process of adhering your poster to a rigid, archival substrate, to flatten it. This process is essential for the high quality presentation of a poster, as it smooths over bubbles, creases and indentations.

Photoprinting

For those times when that photo you took begs to be immortalized, we offer the option to physically print your photo prior to framing it. Photos smaller than 9×12 are printed free of charge, while larger photos come at a small surcharge.

Restoration and Conservation

Many of our clients are veteran collectors, some of whom bring us art from centuries ago! At the New Yorker, we will ensure your artwork looks as good decades from now as it does when you bring it to us. in paper conservation techniques.
